Elders
Kim Kira is the primary teaching elder at Lighthouse and a graduate of the Master’s Seminary (MDiv.). He and his wife Jen are currently students at the Master’s College working on a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling degree. Aside from his family and ministry, some of Kim's great passions are the Dodgers and Lakers, BBQing, eating red meat, and snowboarding. Kim and Jen have three kids: Caleb, Josiah, and Karissa.
* is a So Cal native who grew up in the city of San Gabriel. He attended a church in the city and gave his life to Christ while in elementary school. After graduating from UC Irvine, Gavin moved back to his hometown and became a high school world history teacher for three years before entering full time ministry. During that time he met Lorraine, and they were later married in 2002. Gavin received his Master of Divinity degree from Talbot School of Theology. When not serving or studying, he enjoys playing soccer, rooting for the Lakers with Lorraine, and fly fishing on a lake or stream. Currently, Gavin serves on staff, overseeing the Evangelism Ministry.
Jason Ho* serves as the Director of Worship Ministries and also oversees the Pathlights Fellowship for young adults. Both he and his wife Amy are originally from the East Coast, but they and their two children now live in Redondo Beach where Jason works as an urgent care physician. Besides having an interest in a variety of sports, music and reading, Jason also enjoys studying for his Master in Biblical Counseling at the Master's College.
Ryan Narasaki* works full-time in international marketing for a local biotechnology/chemistry company. He is a graduate of Talbot School of Theology, where he received a Master of Arts degree in Theology. He grew up in Torrance and still lives there with his family. Home is a busy place where Ryan and his wife Kerri raise their daughters, Kylee and Katelyn, as well as Ryan's half-brother Andrew. Ryan currently oversees the Lighthouse's children's ministry (8 months old - 5th grade) and is also involved with the small group ministries. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys running with Kerri, surfing, fishing, traveling and photography. His theological interests include studying cults and learning about the ancient manuscripts of the Bible.
Kelly Kira* considers it a blessing to serve as an Elder-in-training at Lighthouse Community Church. His little family includes his wife Shelley and his little girl Zoe (Zo-Zo). He is the oldest of four boys, and his younger, bigger brother is Pastor Kim. He recently began attending the Master's College, where he is working towards the degree of Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. Kelly's ministries include visual graphics, vacation bible school, and Fall Festival. He is also involved in small groups and children's ministries. Aside from his ministry responsibilities, Kelly enjoys eating, sports, fishing, creating stuff, and hanging out with his family.

Staff
David Lee serves as a pastoral intern overseeing youth ministries. He also attends the Master's Seminary, where he is working towards the degree of Master of Divinity. Aside from his love for Biblical studies and working with youth, David enjoys coffee, playing guitar, cooking, and gardening. Although he is originally from San Francisco, he feigns ignorance of Giants baseball and takes no responsibility for their play or conduct. He married his wife Jamie in May 2008 and likes it very much.
Jesse Terasaki serves as a part-time intern overseeing college ministry. He works part-time at Dr. Gerry Gee Optometry and also tutors the SAT part-time on the side. Though he graduated from UCLA, the only team that really affects his emotional well-being is the Lakers. His favorite activity is hanging out at the church office. He will also update this short bio when he has a more interesting life. He loves Wahoos.
Eric Lau serves with Jesse as the other part-time intern working with the college ministry. Eric is an enthusiastic fan of the fantasy and science fiction genres. Eric's favorite activities include spending time with his fiancee Tritia and reading Wikipedia. Eric also works doing online marketing for a Christian publishing company. Eric appreciates the humble and joyful spirit of the people he serves and is served by at Lighthouse.
Jee Suh serves as the Church Administrator, and she thoroughly enjoys her job. She also enjoys serving on various ministries in the church: youth, women's ministries, and discipleship. When she's not serving with the church, she loves to eat (a lot), cook (in huge amounts), read (all sorts of books), sing (songs), drink coffee (black), Dodgers baseball (even when they lose) and enjoys playing soccer on a city recreational team (even when they lose).
